- is relationship with God
- is to the Father, through the Son, in the Spirit
- involves adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication
- should be constant, sincere, and faithful
- is answered according to God’s will
- is powerful and effective
Prayer is ongoing, sincere conversation with God the Father, made possible through Christ, empowered by the Spirit. It should include praise, confession, thanksgiving, and requests, always offered in faith and aligned with God’s will.
Pray…
- at all times in the Spirit
- with all prayer and supplication
- with all perseverance
- for all the saints
