Some Context First…

Walk with Discernment…

  • Test the spirits (4:1)
  • Know right doctrine (4:2-3)
  • Rely on the Holy Spirit (4:4-6)

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings.  True

There is one God who has revealed Himself in three different modes or manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  False

Jesus Christ is the God-Man; that is, He is partially God and partially human.  False

Human beings were created in the image of God, but fell into sin and are now eternally condemned apart from salvation in Jesus Christ.  True

Sinful human beings can be saved from eternal condemnation through faith in Jesus Christ and good works.  False

The resurrection of Jesus is a physical, bodily resurrection and therefore the bodies of all believers will also undergo a physical, bodily resurrection.  True

Jesus Christ is coming again bodily in great power and glory to judge the living and the dead, and He will make all things new.  True
