The Suffering Servant

  • will be disregarded by many (53:1)
  • grew up in the presence of the LORD (53:2)
  • appeared ordinary (53:2)
  • was despised and rejected (53:3)
  • was a man of sorrows (53:3)
  • carried our sorrows (53:4)
  • was pierced for our transgressions (53:5)
  • healed us by His wounds (53:5)

  • was unjustly condemned (53:8)
