A Call to Persevere
Remember the warning of the apostles
But you, beloved…
- Build yourselves up in your holy faith
- Pray in the Holy Spirit
- Keep yourselves in the love of God
- Wait for the mercy of the Lord Jesus
- Have mercy on believers who doubt
- Save unbelievers from the fire
- Cautiously show mercy to the corrupt
Applying the Text
- Don’t be surprised by falsehoods and assaults on your faith
- Rely on God’s love and power
- Extend God’s love and mercy to others
