What is a “Worldview”?

A worldview is the framework of our most basic beliefs that shapes our view of the world :and is the basis for our decisions and actions.
The Biblical worldview conforms to Biblical teaching, which in turn, conforms to REALITY.

The Meaning of Life: 3 Basic Options

  1. Life has no meaning
  2. Meaning is created by us from within
  3. Meaning is given to us from outside us

Critical Concerns: Meaning Ecclesiastes 3:10-14

  • God has put unfathomable eternity into man’s heart
  • The best thing in life for man is to do good and enjoy God’s good gifts
  • The Sovereign God has done all this that man may fear Him

Critical Concerns: Meaning 1 John 2:15-17

  • All the desires of the world are passing away
  • Whoever does the will of God abides forever

Critical Concerns: Meaning Matthew 22:34-40

  • The greatest commandment is to love God with all your being
  • The second is to love your neighbor
