– Stephen Olford

Humility

“Pride is a roadblock to revival which blinds us to our true spiritual condition.”

Honesty

“We will not experience revival until we are willing to be honest with God and others about our true spiritual condition.”

Repentance

“Repentance is a change of mind that results in a change of behavior.”

Grace

“We cannot live humble, holy, obedient lives without God’s amazing, extravagant provision called grace.”

Holiness

Two Aspects, Two Arenas

Two Aspects of Holiness

  • Positional Holiness: The purity of Christ given to you by faith which has given you an eternal standing before God that is pure, unstained, unblemished and can never be undone
  • Practical Holiness: The temporal outworking of your eternal position in Christ as you grow to resemble more and more the purity of the Lord Jesus Christ

Two Arenas of Holiness

  • Character: The purity of Christ expressed in you
  • Service: The purity of Christ expressed through you
