My wife and I were traveling on the Kansas Turnpike, bucking 30 to 45 mph crosswinds. At the tollbooth, I asked the attendant, “What do you people do in Kansas when the wind quits?”
The tollbooth attendant didn’t miss a beat when she answered, “We take the rocks out of our pockets.”

We have a praise; Atticus is out of the hospital!
We want to thank you for your prayers and I am attaching the results of those prayers (pix of Atticus – the first is him on the way home with some joyful family members in attendance, and the second is him at home, smiling at last!). Keep praying for his heart surgery. May he heal his way through it just as he did this trip to the hospital.
