Teen Impact is the youth group of Wonder Lake Bible Church. All teens are welcome to come and be around people just like you. You don't have to be a member of the church or anything. In fact, we don’t care even if you have never set foot inside a church before. Just come to meet some new people (they aren’t too scary), learn about the Bible, and have a good time along the way.

Coming Up at Teen Impact

Here are the events planned for this Summer so far:

• Saturday, August 23: Chicago Trip - We will ride the train downtown, go to Navy Pier, take a boat cruise on Lake Michigan, visit Buckingham Fountain and have pizza. More details including times to follow.
• A Lock-In is planned for sometime this Fall, and we may be also going on a camping retreat and a winter retreat. Stay tuned for more details.

On a normal night (see when we meet below), we usually get together in the Sanctuary to talk for a little bit. We sing and listen to a little music too. After that, we go to play a game or two as a group. We always have snacks out for everyone. One game we really seem to like too much is Dodgeball, but if that isn’t your kind of thing, you can just shoot some hoops or play a board game with others.

We have a balcony that is always open if you want to hang out there (or play pool or table tennis). Sometimes we go outside and make s'mores around the campfire. And if you’ve got something on your mind you can always talk about it with people your same age or with one of our adult leaders, including Pastor Dan.

In the community, we have raked leaves for a neighbor and have helped out at a Walk for Life event at Petersen Park. We’ve had some fun outside of Wonder Lake too. We went to see Newsboys in concert, up to Wisconsin for camping and rock climbing in the fall and skiing in the winter, to the movies, and to Raymond’s Bowl in Johnsburg. We plan to do more in the future!

By visiting, of course! Here’s a map of where Wonder Lake Bible Church is, which is where we meet. During this Summer, we are meeting on selected Friday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Look at the church calendar to see exactly when we meet. You don’t need to bring anything, but you can bring your friends if you’d like (we encourage you to!). If you have any questions don't hesitate to send us an email! We'll see you here!
